Ken is the senior managing partner at Sonzogni, Bottitto & Cooper, LLC. Ken’s practice focuses on accounting, auditing, tax compliance and consulting services. Ken began his career at a prominent, mid-sized certified public accounting firm in NJ. He was the youngest member of the firm to be named as a partner. He spent more than ten years with the firm until he decided to start his own practice. This was over twenty years ago and the beginning of the firm now known as Sonzogni, Bottitto & Cooper, LLC.

Ken’s practice focuses on delivering the highest level of accounting, auditing and tax services to all clients with an emphasis on high net worth individuals and closely-held businesses in various industries. He has been engaged by his clients to offer advice on advanced issues such as succession planning, estate planning, business acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Sonzogni has been working as a trusted advisor to many of his clients for well over two decades. He believes that building a strong working relationship with his clients is paramount to delivering the highest quality of service.

Listed among his many accomplishments, one of his favorite was participating in a roundtable discussion on exit planning strategies. This was hosted by Smart CEO Magazine. In attendance were highly esteemed members of the New York business community including CEO’s of several large companies and well-known wealth management advisors.

Ken is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey and State of New York. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

More than twenty years ago Lisa co-founded the firm now known at Sonzogni, Bottitto & Cooper, LLC. Her practice focuses on accounting, auditing and tax preparation for a variety of clients. Prior to starting the firm Lisa was a staff accountant at a mid-sized certified public accounting firm in Mountainside, New Jersey, which she joined after receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from Kean University.

In addition to other area’s, Lisa enjoys working with clients to understand the needs and expectations of today’s small businesses. She has serviced some clients for more than 20 years. It is her work ethic and dedication, in addition to keeping current with tax and accounting law changes, which have contributed to the success of the practice.

Lisa is a CPA licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA).

Dawn is a tax partner at Sonzogni, Bottitto and Cooper, LLC. Dawn has been with the firm for 9 years. Prior to joining the firm, Dawn spent 10 years in public accounting and private industry. She spent over six years with a “Big Four” accounting firm where she focused exclusively on tax compliance and consulting services. The latter four years of her tenure was spent in supervisory/management positions. As part of the private company services group, she was able to service a wide client base consisting primarily of closely-held businesses in varying industries such as private equity, professional services, real estate and manufacturing. While a member of the private company services group, Dawn was able to engage in projects focusing on multi-state tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, as well as preparation and review of income tax provisions.

During Dawn’s time in industry, she was a tax manager for a publicly traded company in the United States and a multi-national German owned company. During these years, Dawn managed tax departments of over seven people and was responsible for reporting directly to the Director of Tax and CFO. Her responsibilities included federal and state tax compliance and planning, monthly tax provisions, domestic and international federal audit management and state audit management.

Dawn is a licensed CPA in the State of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
